If I were running for President, here is where I would go:
I would travel to where ever there is an interested group of citizens who request an opportunity to hear me out on issues of concern to them, to their neighbors and friends and to my fellow citizens across our country.
I would travel on my time but on their dime; that is, I would ask only that appropriate transportation and lodging be furnished for me and for any helpers who might accompany me, when and if such helpers should become a reality; as of the rewriting of this brief statement, December 19, 2005, I have yet to enlist the help of anyone to work on or for this campaign. I will be pleased to pay for my own meals and incidental expenses as I would do were I to have stayed at home.
